Chris Rose is an Australian indie pop singer and songwriter from coastal town Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast.
Chris' distinctive voice and natural talent for songwriting are the key to his craft. From the seaside town of Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast, Chris has immersed himself in his music, having done the hard yards performing live, writing his songs and developing his studio chops from a young age.
Some recent notable performances include performing as opening support act for Aussie pop band Sheppard on their “Watching the Sky National Tour” across NSW in late 2018, as well as hitting the road as support act on tour with The Black Sorrows and Thirsty Merc over summer 2018/early 2019.
Chris puts his heart and soul into his music, crafting his songs and perfecting his lyrics. His sound can be described as Aussie singer-songwriter organic pop with a little electro thrown in. With influences ranging from Sheppard to Dean Lewis, Ziggy Alberts, and Morgan Evans.
His latest offering “Someone Like You” is a hook filled summer anthem about buzzing with excitement after finally finding the one.
Chris has shot a music video to accompany the single at the iconic Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road in VIC, adding to the song's uplifting Australian feel which is generating plenty of buzz amongst his growing fan base on social media.
